Shipping Containers are not just for Cargo
The original use for shipping containers was just for transporting goods by sea. Now however, they have a whole range of amazing and innovative uses. For inspiration, below are just some of the many ways we have repurposed them. You can see more on our conversions page

Why Are We Turning to Shipping Containers?
They are an adaptable and low-cost way of achieving what we need. By reusing containers that might otherwise be scrapped or left unused, not only do we cut down on waste, but we also reduce construction costs. This is the most eco-friendly solution there is, and gives shipping containers a second chance at life. What’s more, it’s Trendy. Whether you are looking for a base for a temporary installation or something more permanent, these units are like giant building blocks that can be highly portable if required. Residential Spaces
Shipping container homes have become increasingly common and popular, providing an affordable alternative to traditional housing. Multiple containers, like giant building blocks, can be combined to form a larger really striking, and cool industrial look. They can be thoroughly insulated and modifications such as large patio or bi-fold windows, plumbing, electrics etc can all be added to create a wonderful home. Many people buy them to use as granny annexes or extra accommodation for their teenage children.

Retail and Hospitality
Pop-up businesses made from containers can be a gold mine. They are now a familiar sight at festivals used as food or drink stalls. Their portability make them ideal for temporary events or seasonal operations. They are solid, durable and weatherproof so they can also work on a more permanent basis. Even large structures, if necessary, they can be taken down and repositioned, allowing business owners to set up shop in another location. Office Spaces
Shipping containers are an ideal office solution, not only for large corporations but also for small business, SME’s and startups that require a usable office space but do not want to enter into a long-term lease. They can be fully equipped with all the modern amenities making them comfortable and functional. By combining containers together we have also created large office blocks for Blue Chip clients like Network Rail and UK Power Networks. You can see pictures of these on our website. Click Here

Education and Community Use
As part of projects in the community, Shipping Containers are also being used to provide additional classroom space in overcrowded schools. We have completed several projects by combining 40ft Containers together and positioning them in the School playground. We have then fitted them out as libraries so that the lucky children can use them during their breaks. During Covid they were invaluable as additional classrooms. They can be easily relocated as needed, making them a great investment for local authorities. The possible uses are innumerable. Some examples are community hubs, libraries, and youth centres.
