The London East Alternative Provision initially engaged us to create a recording studio, and following their satisfaction with our work, they commissioned us to construct therapy pods for a new student support initiative. These pods offer students a dedicated space to relax, reflect, and receive personalized tuition.
Crafted from repurposed twenty-foot containers, we tailored two pods measuring 2 ten foot by eight feet and one measuring fourteen by eight feet. Each pod features full insulation and interior lining of washable white melamine, complemented by carpet tiles and dado trunking for convenient socket and data box installation. Externally, the pods are finished with timber shiplap and treated with a protective silver wood stain. Construction took place in our workshop, and final assembly included fitting sliding patio doors with toughened glass on-site.
These versatile pods are perfectly suited for small offices, garden rooms, security huts, or study areas, offering adaptable placement in compact environments.
