Cost Efficient Solution for Extra Warehouse Space
A Kent farm shop required extra storage for their local produce hampers so approached Capital Containers to design and quote on a solution. Their original thought was to demolish an old outbuilding and build a new facility with a projected cost of more than a £100k. After discussion with the Capital Containers team an ideal solution utilising shipping containers was put together for a quarter of the cost.

The design was based on joining two 40ft high cube shipping containers to provide a large space for their food hall goods to be stored before collection.
The works to remove one full side wall on both the 40ft containers which when joined together form a large open plan area with supporting pillars and the fitting of a secure single exit steel fire door and double glazed UPVC tilt & turn widow with anti-vandal shutter was completed before delivery at our fabrication yard.

The last step was to fit the wall and ceiling timber frame then line with the insulation materials and finished off in OSB panels.
